CRM ROI Calculator: How Much Are You Losing From Lost Leads?
A CRM ROI calculator prices the leads a firm loses to slow or missed follow-up, and tests what recovering part of them would be worth against the monthly cost of a CRM. Enter your leads per month, your conversion rate, your average commission per deal, and the loss and recovery shares you believe, and the calculator gives you the commission lost each month and each year, the commission on-time follow-up could recover, and the net gain after the CRM cost. All results are estimates from your own inputs, never measured Leadvio results. It is free, instant, and needs no signup.
Enter your firm's numbers
Every new enquiry your firm receives in a month, from all sources together.
Deals closed per 100 leads. If 5 of every 100 leads close, enter 5.
Your share of the commission on a typical deal, before tax.
Leads that got no follow-up, or got one too late. This is your assumption, so set it honestly.
Not every lost lead comes back. Set this to the share you think timely follow-up could realistically save.
Opens at ₹4,995, the Leadvio Team 5 pack price per month, plus GST. Type any other monthly cost to test it, or ₹0 to test the free plan for up to 3 users.
What lost leads cost you
₹54,00,000 per year, from 60 lost leads and 3 lost deals a month.
Estimates from your own inputs only. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere. This is not a promise of results from any CRM.
How the lost lead cost is calculated
The maths has three steps:
Commission you earn now
Leads per month multiplied by the conversion rate gives the deals you close now. Deals multiplied by the average commission per deal gives the commission you earn now.
Commission lost to slow follow-up
Leads per month multiplied by the share lost to slow or missed follow-up gives the lost leads. Lost leads multiplied by the same conversion rate gives the deals lost, and deals lost multiplied by the average commission gives the commission lost each month.
What on-time follow-up could recover
Deals lost multiplied by the share you think on-time follow-up could recover gives the deals recovered. Deals recovered multiplied by the average commission gives the recoverable commission each month. Subtract the monthly CRM cost you enter to get the net monthly gain.
The key assumption is stated plainly: lost leads are assumed to convert at the same rate as your average lead. If that feels generous, lower the recovery share. The honest version of this calculator is the cautious one, not the biggest number.
Worked example
A firm gets 200 leads a month and closes 5 percent of them, which is 10 deals. At an average commission of ₹1,50,000 per deal, the firm earns ₹15,00,000 a month now.
The calculator above opens with exactly these numbers. Change the loss share to 10 percent and the monthly loss falls to ₹1,50,000. Change the recovery share to 25 percent and the recoverable commission falls to ₹1,12,500. Run your cautious numbers before you run your hopeful ones.
Not the same as property ROI
This page prices lost leads for a firm owner. If you want the return on a property itself, rental yield, appreciation and CAGR, use the property ROI calculator. The two tools answer different questions, and their numbers must not be mixed.
Frequently asked questions
Work it out from your own numbers: leads per month, multiplied by the share lost to slow or missed follow-up, multiplied by your conversion rate, multiplied by your average commission per deal. This calculator does that maths for you, and the yearly figure is the monthly loss multiplied by 12.
It is the net monthly gain divided by the monthly CRM cost you enter, multiplied by 100. Net monthly gain is the recoverable commission each month minus the monthly CRM cost. If the recoverable commission is smaller than the CRM cost, the net gain is negative, and the calculator shows that honestly.
No. Every result here is an estimate from the numbers you type in, not a measured Leadvio result. Leadvio does not promise a conversion rate, a recovery rate or a commission figure. Change the loss share and the recovery share to cautious values and base any decision on the cautious result.
Because it has no other rate to use. It is a stated assumption, not a fact about your leads. If your lost leads are weaker than your average lead, lower the recovery share until the result matches what you believe is realistic.
Count it for one month: leads that got no follow-up, or got one so late that the buyer had already moved on, divided by all leads that month, multiplied by 100. Use that figure here. Guessing a round number is fine for a first run, but a counted figure is worth far more than a guessed one.
It is the monthly cost you want to test the recoverable commission against. It opens at ₹4,995, which is the Leadvio Team 5 pack price per month, plus GST. If you want to test a different pack or a different tool, type that monthly cost instead. Leadvio is also free for up to 3 users, with no time limit, so you can test a cost of ₹0 as well.
From counting the loss to stopping it
A calculator shows what slow follow-up costs. Stopping the loss needs follow-ups that stay visible until they are done, on the same record as the lead, the calls and the site visits. That is what Leadvio CRM is built for, and it is free for up to 3 users, with no time limit.
- Leads, follow-ups and site visits on one record
- Commission slabs and payouts tracked per deal
- Free for up to 3 users, with no time limit
